We’re excited to be bringing Future FWD back for a third year.

If you’re trying to get into sports and entertainment marketing, you’ll know it’s not always easy. Getting that first bit of experience can be the hardest part - and that’s exactly what we’re trying to help with.

Future FWD is our Work Insights programme at Dentsu Sports International, designed to give people a proper introduction to the industry - not just a glimpse of it.

Over four months, you’ll spend time with people working across sport and entertainment, get access to industry events, and contribute to work that’s shared across the industry.

It’s all about giving you a genuine first step in.

What you’ll get from it

We’ve built the programme to give you meaningful exposure and a chance to learn by doing.

If you’re selected, you’ll get:

  • A place on the Introduction to Sponsorship course with the European Sponsorship Association

  • One-to-one mentoring with people working across sport and entertainment

  • Access to industry events

  • An in-person workshop at our DSI offices covering strategy, creative, insights and partnerships

  • The chance to create and publish content across our channels

  • Opportunities to work on live briefs and contribute to campaigns, reports and events

  • Ongoing access to the Future FWD alumni network

It’s also designed to fit around your life, so whether you’re studying or working, you can still take part.

Why we run it

We know from experience that breaking into this industry isn’t always straightforward.

Future FWD is our way of opening things up a bit more - giving people access, experience, and a platform to share their perspective early on.

It also helps us bring in fresh thinking. The ideas and viewpoints from the cohort feed into our work, from campaigns to thought leadership.

Because the future of fan-first marketing should be shaped by a wider mix of voices.
